Zarządzanie urządzeniamimacOS

Orchard View is a native macOS app that consolidates device data from Jamf Pro, Jamf School, and Apple School Manager (ASM) or Apple Business Manager (ABM) into a single unified dashboard. It sits alongside your MDM — not replacing it — enriching and merging what each platform knows so you can answer fleet questions without bouncing between admin portals.

Key capabilities

  • Unified inventory — Computers, iPads, iPhones, and Apple TVs from Jamf Pro and Jamf School in one deduplicated table
  • Warranty tracking — Live AppleCare coverage data pulled directly from ASM/ABM, with expiry dates and time remaining
  • Installed app inventory — Per-device app lists with bundle IDs and versions across Jamf Pro and Jamf School devices
  • Device detail — Hardware specs, OS version, IP address, MDM status, and group memberships at a glance
  • Remote commands — Lock, Restart, and Erase sent via MDM with confirmation dialogs
  • Static group management — Add selected devices to existing groups or create new ones across Jamf Pro and Jamf School
  • ASM/ABM MDM assignment clearing — Remove MDM server assignments directly from within the app
  • Reports — CSV and PDF export with flexible filtering, sorting, and warranty color-coding

How it works

Connect Orchard View to your Jamf Pro instance (using OAuth 2.0 client credentials), Jamf School (Network ID and API key), and optionally ASM or ABM (signed JWT with an EC private key). Once connected, Orchard View fetches your full device inventory, deduplicates records that appear in multiple sources by serial number, and enriches each record with live warranty data from Apple's systems.

The main window surfaces interactive warranty and device-type charts, a filterable and searchable device table, and one-click access to device detail views. Reports can be generated from any filtered view and exported to CSV or PDF in seconds.

All credentials are stored in the macOS Keychain and never written to disk in plaintext.
